    Membership Requirements: Pay one-time membership dues of $15 and gain a minimum of 25 points of achievement in qualifying events (debates, speech contests, etc.)

    Purpose of Organization: To enhance students' critical thinking, public speaking, and performance skills

    Other Information: Debate season is in the fall.  Forensics is in the spring.  Forensics refers to public speaking and NOT "forensic science" like CSI.  Students can qualify for a national tournament every year by competing and winning in district tournaments in December and March/April.
